For the moment, Bryce Energy Services consists of me with additonal help from my Partners for specific customer requirements. I have over twenty years experience in the energy sector.
Following my degree at the University of Strathclyde in electrical and electronic engineering, I started as a graduate and then electrical design engineer with Rolls Royce – Reyrolle, in Hebburn on the banks of the River Tyne.
I continued to progress through my career to be a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Operations Manager, Commercial Manager, Head of Commercial, Head of Business Systems and now decided to establish my own energy consultancy service. I have worked for a variety of engineering and energy companies including Rolls-Royce, Siemens, Balfour Beatty, Gridpower and most recently The Energy Check.
The core of this service is a consultancy based around a number of key services which a business needs to address in terms of their Energy Management and ultimately going Carbon Neutral. Please get in touch with me by e-mail or ‘Contact Us‘ for an online discussion so we can together set your business on course for an energy management system.
While I may not have put much creative thought into my business name (say who you are and what you do) my business logo did have a little more consideration. The idea was to symbolise a slightly tipped scales in favour of the environment, represented by a small plant over industry represented by the gears. Perhaps a bit on the nose but it is the required direction of travel.
Whilst there are many actions a business can take that benefit both the environment and the business commercial status such as Heat Pumps, Solar Panels, Wind Generation, ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems, however for a business to truly favour the environment and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 or earlier, requires senior management engagement and return on capital investment of the order of 7 to 10 years rather than 2 to 5 years.
